AUGURIES

As technology becomes increasingly ubiquitous, we experience the detachment of materiality in order to trust the “black box” of computer logic as an unseen force to guide our daily lives. Whilst immediate communication, universal knowledge and omnipresence have always been human yearnings, now somehow achieved through virtual technologies. New questions raise about what human nature really is and how we draw different non-linear trajectories through time and space to understand it. Memory, emotions and affective experiences of objects and places are used by the artists as tools for exploring the relations between what is tangible and what is not.
