Performativity

해당 전시에서는 여성들이 그들의 삶에서 계속해서 맡게 되는 수행적인 측면을 조명한다. 이를 전복적, 비판적 시각으로 바라보며, 작가들은 가부장적 사회 내에 존재하는 경계 및 요구사항들의 밖, 그리고 안에서 '여성성'을 탐구한다. 전시될 작품들은 그 범위가 회화 작품, 사진, 퍼포먼스, 설치물, 영상, 일러스트레이션들로 이루어질 예정이다.
해당 전시는 파트너인 tactileBOSCH의 감독 아래 영국에서 11월에서 개최되는 화답전과 동일한 작가들로 구성될 예정이다. 이에 전시되는 작품들을 라이브 비디오 피드(실시간 비디오 자료) 및 웹사이트를 통해 디지털 아카이빙 할 예정에 있다.

“Performativity" is the first exhibition of its kind for Crazy Multiply as it is both a collaborative and nomadic effort with Cardiff-based art collective, @tactilebosch. Participating artists from South Korea and the United Kingdom will be featured at @www__space in Seoul under the supervision of Crazy Multiply, and at a reciprocated exhibition in the UK in November under the supervision of tactileBOSCH. We will archive the collaboration digitally via live feed & website.
This exhibition will focus on the performative aspects of the roles that women take on throughout their lives. Expressing the issue through a subversive and critical lens, artists will explore femininity and identity within and beyond the limits and expectations of the patriarchal society. Artwork to be exhibited will range from painting, photography, performance, installation, video, and illustration.
