송번수 개인전 Song Burnsoo

Gallery Baton will present recent works by Song Burnsoo (b.1943) from 25 April to 25 May at Blue Baton, a window gallery space. Active at the dawn of modernism and at the forefront of the formation of Korean Avant-garde Art, he has been working without genre boundaries for over 60 years. In recent years, Song has been immersed in a series of paintings that connect his persona, ‘Thorn,’ to the operating principles of the vast universe. The new works in the exhibition will further open up the transcendental possibilities of the Thorn painting series.
